Last week in CFS we worked on our textiles unit. We decided that we would donate our projects to the Weld County Humane society. There were 4 different projects we worked on, the class split up into 4 groups. One group made No Sew Dog beds, anther group made Sweater Cat Beds. Also the 3rd group made T-Shirt Pull Toys, and lastly the 4th group made 3 sided Paracord pull toys. As shown in the recant pictures, we also had people give donations for the cats and dogs at the Humane Society. Our class worked together on this project, for instance we all did our unit packet as a class. As a class we tested our projects by pulling on them, sitting, laying, and ect. If the product broke, ripped, or tarred we would find the cause and fix it. We kept a chart of our findings during the testing period. Over all we created many toys and beds, and collect many donations from our school community. Thank you to all the people who participated in the donations and the projects.
